This is for Timeless Tues. challenge 'flowers'
 Recipe:
Stamp: Flourish 'orchids ss150
dies: memory box Amira flourish, nesties small deckle
paper: DCWV 'lemon drop'

Until next time

Insanity of sin

Good Morning!! Well another busy weekend of digging up a garden and planting flowers. I have never planted a garden in my life, so now all I can do is pray :).

My pastor preached an awesome sermon Sunday, "Insanity of sin", sin has no mercy, it is like a cancer that is very aggressive and it will keep you out of the kingdom of God if you do not take sin seriously. It will kill destroy you, it will kill you and the end cast your soul into hell.
I tell you not a dry eye in the sanctuary, and the alter was filled.  Little sins grow into big sins and we are to be watchful over the most precious thing we own "OUR SOULS."

I created this card for 2 challenges. Our Daily Bread "sketch" and Stampin Sisters in Christ "build it up."
Recipe:
Stamp: Our daily bread "Faith" along with the matching die
Other: cuttle bug folders, stick pin I made, su punch, copics.

I decided to do the challenge over at the Sweet Stop,Sweet 'n  Sassy's sketch challenge. This is one of their digi stamps colored with copics and stickles. I just love stickles :). The ribbon is from Stamp Simply Ribbon Store and the paper is "me and my big ideas".

And finally a challenge from Stamp TV, Free For All Friday, case the DT Michelle Woerner.
The stamp is "Friendship's Garden " Gina K. used  labels 14 for the sentiment. I copied this card of her's.

Alright, that is it for me, I do pray that all of you have a Blessed Week.

In my heart

Well Good Morning... I tell you I worked harder Sat (my day off) then I did all week at work :). I have a screened patio and after the winter the stone looks rough. I had to soak it, scrub it, use a shop vac to suck up the water and empty it 50 times ( a little exaggeration) :). but close! Then I waxed the stones, by hand on my knees,  then I decided to wash and wax my car as I was waiting for the patio to dry. I was so stiff later in the day. My day started at 6 am and I finished at 2 pm. Decided to go to my old neighbor hood and take Hercules speed walking. Then I visited some one else and told them I could not stay long because I am so stiff, she said " you need to exercise!"  Really? Did you not hear what I have been doing all day. :)

I meet a lady in church Sunday that really touched my heart, she is new in Christ and it was so strong in my heart to make this scripture card set for her.

The scriptures and image on front of the card are from Our Daily Bread. This really was a labor of love. I had to masked the hearts to stamp these flowers so they would not go into the embossed area. Each colored with copics. This is a 6x5 1/2. The flowers are from Lindy's stamp gang.

I am entering this for Our Daily Bread challenge, pick an inspiration photo that is on the blog, I picked #1

Thanks for stopping by
Have a Blessed Day

Happy Mothers Day

Good Morning, where did the weekend go!!
I created this card for my mother. Wanted to keep it simple to go through the mail. The stamp is from Stamping Up  "Apothecary Art" with SU matching die. The word mother is computer generated and cut out with fancy tags.

I am entering this for The Paper Players "mothers"

Now this one was created for two challenges:
Stampin sisters in Christ #138 incorporate something real or natural. I used a feather and hemp cord. the circles are from Gina K "elegant elements" the die is a Marianne flourish die # HED 702. The scripture is from SU "Blessings from heaven".
Make sure you stop by and read the devotional for this week, it is excellent, from 1 John 2:4-6.

And for the Craft's Meow sketch challenge.

Have a Blessed Day

Being a Friend

Good Morning. I figured I do another friend card since I have been blessed to have a few great ones and love reminding them that they are special.
I remember when I was a child out playing and my grandmother called me in and I told her I wanted to stay out and play with my Friends, she told me if I leave this earth with one good friend I will have been blessed. I did not understand then but I sure understood it as I got older and wiser. I have been blessed by God to have a few great friends, and I have been blessed to know how to be a good friend.

I am entering this for the challenge at Our Daily Bread, "go green"

Stamp: Our daily bread "Faithful Friend" the ribbon is from "The stamp simply ribbon store."

Thank you for stopping by, it sure does bless me to see your comments :)

I just won again over at Our Daily Bread for this card..:) What a blessing.
